Jeselle Sarguous was born in 2001 and lives in Cairo. She is an accomplished graduate of the British University in Egypt. She holds a degree in Mass Media and Communication from the Department of Film and Media Studies and is distinguished for having achieved a top 5 ranking among students.

Her passion and love for films developed, and she headed towards the field of filmmaking. It began when she traveled to many countries, especially Amsterdam and Italy, where she found a shooting in a public place, she found herself merging among the crowd, observing everything, and her desire to immerse herself in it more in her country and the embodiment of the art of the East.

Due to her love of watching films with a critical and analytical view to understanding the different types of art around the world, she always believes that a person does not express himself only through speeches, and she assumes that a person expresses what is real inside him and what is going on in his subconscious in films. She believes in a personal saying that she invented: “Show me your films, and I will know who you are.” This is evident in her love for the dramatic and tragic genre of short films, with open endings kept for interpretation.
